I was born on a beautiful October day in Albuquerque New Mexico to kind, hard working, bright eyed, immigrant parents. From that moment onward, my parents worked hard to provide for my younger sister and I. They sacrificed so much to give us the best life they could and taught me the humbling importance of one’s character, hard honest work, and the joy of helping others.
I was raised in a suburb of Rio Rancho. I partook in sports and fell in love with history, art, and music. I played the French Horn and the Flute in the High School Marching Band. I excelled academically and had the desire to help others succeed and love learning as much as I did. After graduating from Rio Rancho High School, I decided to dedicate my college studies to Education. I attended the University of New Mexico and finished my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with honors from New Mexico Highlands University. I taught summer school programs, kindergarten and first grade in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho until I was diagnosed with a medical condition, Fibromyalgia, that forced me to resign. After taking time to focus on bettering and learning about my health, and reflecting on what I wanted to do, I got the courage to pursue the profession that I had always carried in my mind and heart.
Real estate became a passion of mine at a very young age. Growing up in a rapidly expanding city, real estate was very much accessible to observe. On weekends, my mother would take my younger sister and I to see new construction model homes. She enjoyed seeing the creativity and design from home to home. She would take these ideas and make them a reality in the only home I was lucky enough to grow up in. I too became enthralled and took every chance I could to flip through home magazines showing the latest homes on the market. I saw each home as unique and learned to appreciate the details.
I knew that I could put my two passions together, teaching and real estate, and dedicate my professional life to doing so. I have had the honor and opportunity to help clients from all walks of life to accomplish their real estate goals. From out of state sellers and buyers, to first time home buyers and sellers, each time keeping in mind my humble beginnings and appreciating the relationships I have built. I pride myself on delivering genuine, competent service during and after each transaction. I continue to work in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, and have expanded to Santa Fe and surrounding areas. I am thankful to say that I love what I do and plan on doing it for a long time to come.
